Lisa started practicing the Gyrotonic Method in 2006 as a way to recover from a back injury. With a background in competitive swimming, she was naturally drawn to the system's fluidity. The multi-dimensional movements aided in recovery and introduced a much healthier and happier lifestyle.
In 2012, Lisa began her training with Tony Morales in NYC, continued her certification with Master Trainer, Billy Macagnone and received her final certification in Munstertal, Germany with Master Trainer, Leda Franklin.
In addition, she has received certifications for Gyrotonic Level 1 as a Musical Journey under Billy Macagnone, Gyrotonic Applications for the High Level Athlete with Master Trainer, Angela Crowley, and Gyrotonic Shoulder Girdle Application with Master Trainer, Uwe Herbstreit.
Nagare was established in 2013 and is a private studio that specializes in one on one training.
Emma decided to become a Certified Gyrotonic Instructor while competing professionally on the International Tennis Federation World Tour. Emma discovered that the Gyrotonic Method helped increase her range of motion, agility, flexibility and strength in addition to aiding in the recovery of her injuries associated with being a professional athlete.
Emma is a graduate of The College of New Jersey where she studied the neuroscience of language and was captain of the tennis team. She completed her gyrotonic training in New York City and is also a trained Reiki Practitioner.
